Swimming Sports

“Are you nervous?” I asked Hine
“Kind of” she said.
“Year 6 girls competitive please come and line up” Mrs Naden said. So I lined up and waited nervously in line. Then I carefully stepped on to the slippery diving block and saw all the people in the crowd. It felt like all their eyes were on me. Then “beep!” I dive in and feel the warmish water hit my face, I frantically swam freestyle all the way to the end, I had hit the wall. I hoped out of the crystal clear water. Then sat on the grand stand with Hine. “Competitive backstroke please go and line up” Mr H said, so I raced to the cold diving block. Next I hear a loud “beep!” In my ear, I dive in with a splash. “Swim, swim, swim” I think in my head “thud” I crashed into the wall, I see Miss Hickling handing me a green block, so I walk over to the diving block again but this time I had a swarm of butterflies in my stomach. “Beep!” I heard it for the third time. I dive in and swim to the end with the crowd cheering, then I hopped out with no block. I step onto the diving block for the last time “beep!” I heard the whistle blow I dived in and swam to the end. I reached the end and that was my 2020 swimming sports done. After a while it was time to walk back to school. We were on the way back to school. I was happy with that swimming spots, it was fun. “I like walking this way” I thought to myself. Back at school after a long walk I said to my friends “today was fun.”

Ash Wednesday

This is my google drawings on Ash Wednesday.
I was learning about Ash Wednesday because it was really Ash Wednesday.
I found it hard to get the photo of me in the right light because it was a rainy day.
I found it easy to take the photo of me because I had or already taken a photo of me.
I enjoyed making this slide because it was fun and exciting to make.
Next time I would give my google drawings a title.

The Weetbixs Tryathlon

“Mum” I yelled “I need my bike off the car so we can go into Churchill park and get ready for going into transition.” “ Yes I know so let's go to the school tent first.” says mum “Ok” I say so we set off to find the tent. “There it is” mum said, I ran over to the red tent and dumped all my things there. Then me and mum walked over to transition. After that I went back to the tent. Back at the tent I saw Emma so then I asked her “Do you want to walk around till the races start?” She said “yes” so we set off and walked around for awhile then Emma said “ lets go do that thing.” So we walked over and waited in line, finally it was my turn so I spun the wheel and it landed on “Do 5 star jumps” so I did 5 Star jumps. Then I saw a thing where you could get face tattoos. So I got 2 on my face. “ Blue cap girls go to the starting point.” The weet bix guy said so I raced over to the starting point we all lined up then we heard the whistle blow then I ran into the freezing cold water then I same around the corner and then I ran to my bike and got everything on the I ran my bike to the hop on sight then I biked off. A while later I hopped off my bike and ran to the spot with all my things. Then I started to run and run and run some more then after awhile I was done I had completed the Weetbix tryathlon.

Waste Free Wednesday

This is my slide on Waste Free Wednesday.
We were learning about waste free because on Wednesday our school has a Waste Free Wednesday.
I found it hard to hard to post this because it was my first time posting a google drawing.
I found it easy to make the google drawings because I had made one before.
I enjoyed making this slide about waste free things because it made me really think about the plant and animals and what we do to the planet when we use plastic.
Next time I would put more photos in because it looks a bit boring.
I am glad I made this slide.

Summer Holidays

This is my slide about my summer holidays.
We were learning about writing descriptive writing.
I found it hard to post this slide because I do not post much.
I found it easy to pick a background because I already knew how to get a background.
I enjoyed making this slide because it was something new to me.
Next time I would change my story because I think it is a bit boring.
I am so happy I made this slide.

Night Vision Goggles

This is my slide about night vision goggles.

We were learning about night vision because it was something I did not know about that much.

I found it difficult to make the goggles frame because I had to draw over it.

I enjoyed thinking of things to put on it like buttons because we could put a lot of things on.

Next time I would change some of my buttons because some of them were a bit boring.

Camp Week!!!

This is my slide about our Home and Away Camp. It was so fun. I found hard to write everything on my slide. I found it easy get the the photo on to my slide. I learnt how to get a photo from my drive on to a slide. I liked making my slide.
